100% UV Protection. To achieve ultra-light weight goals for our ultramarathon and Ironman endurance athletes, Numa first looked to create super-thin frame designs. Then, to maintain frame stability and avoid rubbery floppiness of frame arms in these thinner designs, we experimented with our Tough-Flex frame formula to increase rigidity/stability while maintaining Numa's signature flexibility/rugged reliability. The result: the ultralightweight Lite-Flex frame material. All systems exceed ANSI 80.3 impact standards and all lenses exceed ANSI z87.1 high-velocity impact and optical standards.
