Numa Joins in Fighting for Our Way of Life
JB, I hope this email finds you and your loved ones in good health!!!
JB, thank you so much for your product… I have had my fair share of eyewear in a little over 10 years of Military and Federal government work. My NUMA’s are an essential part of my gear…. I will tell you more about it back in the states….
I will showcase your great gear at home, and at the course in Virginia then back in Iraq or where ever I end up in the world.
Greetings,
Ulisses
p.s. Mike mentioned you wanted to know how I lost my Numas. Unfortunately, because this line is unsecure I can not go into details due to security concerns and the sensitivity of the mission, but when I get home I will be more than happy to share with you.

CLIMBER’S NUMAS WITHSTAND FALL OF 100+ FEET
To whom it may concern,
My name is Patrick Odenbeck at Mystery Ranch Backpacks in Bozeman, MT. Mystery Ranch Backpacks (http://www.mysteryranch.com) is Dana Gleason’s new company (formerly of Dana Design fame). At winter OR some employees picked up some shades and we have grown to love them. My pair fell off my head from over one hundred feet into Talus while climbing. The lenses popped out, but the frame is still in perfect condition. I am impressed since the same thing happened to me with a pair of Smiths in the past and it destroyed them. Thanks for a killer product.

Outward Bound Instructor Extols Numa Toughness
Dear Numa,
I spend 100 days/year under the stars, sometimes out for 30 days at a time. I was a wilderness instructor for 10 years—7 years at Outward Bound, and 3 years at Education through Adventure.
Outdoor instructors are always concerned about their sunglasses, but with Numa’s I have found I don’t have to be. I often put the glasses in the microfiber pouch that came with them and throw them in my pocket, not even bothering to use the hard case. I’ve subjected my Numa’s to a lot of abuse, and they withstood it all. I’ve never seen anything like it.
I’m writing because your sunglasses blow me away. They are simply the best glasses for the outdoors that I have encountered to date. I have been using them for over a year now, and I recommend them to everybody.
Keep up the good work!

Numa’s Survive Drive-Over with a Truck
Hey JB,
Well today was the day for the final testing - the drive-over.
The first drive-over session went fantastic - the frames did just as they were supposed to. Did not crack, snapped right back to shape, lenses were fine.
Second drive-over session - not so well. We wanted to do one more test with them, so we drove over them two more times. The end of the screw joining the frame front with the left arm of the glasses popped free from the lower part. I was able to fix it rather easily - I simply unscrewed it until I could fit the end of the screw back into its intended hole, and screwed it back into proper place. The frames were good to go and just like new. Considering that was all that happened, I was highly impressed.
A+ in my book. My testing team was HIGHLY impressed, as was I - we couldn’t believe they just didn’t snap completely.
Again - great job JB - fantastic glasses.
God Bless & Best Wishes,
